Clan admittance

Post by Swires » 11. Mar 2016, 20:26

Hello fellow tankers, since I am searching for a clan with higher aims than my current clan, I finally came to you.
So here is something about me:
I am a 18 year old German student. I'm playing Wot regulary since the beginning of 2012 and now have 7 Tier 10 tanks. I'm highly interested in playing skirmishes and in platoons.
I also have experience with clans already, but up to now only with German ones.
I'm normally playing every day from 7 pm to 11 pm.
I would welcome your response,
Swires

Hey, Swires.
Glad you took our clan into consideration. What is your in-game nickname? I presume it's the same as on these forums? Scratch that, I found you! :) So, we have this 2 out of 3 points policy in our clan. There are 3 points to be fullfilled, if you will and they are as follows: in-game activity, contribution to the community and skill. Based on what we know about you, you fullfill all of the above mentioned i.e. you are quite active in-game, you are active on forum and (hopefully) in Teamspeak and you are a good player statswise :)

So, since you're already in a clan at the moment, in order for you to join us, you'd have to quit now and wait through the 2 day cool down period. I'm happy to send you an invite then :)

Moin Swires,

thanks for your application. You seem like a perfect match for us. Are we the perfect match for you?

We do play skirmishes at least twice a week. We are training more Field Commanders to accommodate more sessions. Most of our sessions are tier 8, some tier 6 and rarely tier 10. This doesn't have to stay this way, however - the more people want to play tier 10 skrims, the more tier 10 skrims we'll play :-)

We also dive into Team Battles from time to time and have ventured into Clan Wars on the Global Map, even if that's currently at a halt.

We do encourage platooning and also have a permanent platoon of the month competition going. You should always find people to platoon up with in the prime time you mentioned.

We have a good welcoming and entertaining community here on the forum and in game/TS for anyone who wants to actively participate in it. There are currently no hard requirements for activity, but we expect our members to participate in skrim sessions, platoon up or be active on the forum regularly.

Our members come from all over Europe - most from the UK, but we also have other German members. After your application, however, I understand English will not be an issue.

Please give us a little time (our staff is pretty well organized so this will be quick) for discussion and then we should send an invitation out to you to join TEC - if you still want to after my introduction :-)

As soon as your cooldown is over, we'd be happy to have you along. We have a short trial period to see if you fit in and, more importantly, to see if you are happy with your choice. But beyond that I see no reason not to invite you once your cooldown is over. You will get an invite as soon as you are free to join.

In the meantime feel free to ask any questions of your own, I will give you provisional access to the clan member forum area so you can take a look around and see what we're about a bit more in depth. Beyond that good to see you and thanks for taking the time to come here.

Moose is too busy trawling the net for memes and .gifs, so he won't be leading any takeover anytime soon

Actually, we did have 1 in which we did between 7,500 and 8,000 dmg with 6 kills together. Needless to say we finished 1-2-3 in the team ranking......and won

:o Despicable. Scrub. I'm just so disappointed. :x

The Fat Man was dropped by a B-29. The B-25 was a much smaller medium bomber.
